Note from Mrs. Moore

Please continue to help your child with sight words at home.  Many students are still having trouble with this; don’t be discouraged.  Practice no more than 5 minutes per day. We have 11 lists to learn this year.  If you are on list 5 or 6, you are on track to finish by the end of the year.

If anyone is still interested in attending a field trip this year, please let me know.  There are a few spots available.  You are always welcome to come and eat lunch with your student.  We eat at 11:35.  Please let us know by 8:30 in the morning, so we can have enough lunches prepared.  The cost of the adult lunch is $4.  Some parents bring in a special lunch for their child and themselves.

Don't forget the RSCA Auction on February 25.  It will open at 11:00 a.m.  Each family should sell at least 10 Give-A-Way tickets prior to the auction.  We need volunteers!  If you are interested, please let me know.

If you have any questions or concerns contact me by phone (678-873-5507) or e-mail at amoore@rockspringschristianacademy.com.

Clothing Labels

Please remember to label your child’s clothes.  Chapel blazers and ties are misplaced on a weekly basis.  By putting some type of identifying mark inside these items students will be able to return home with the correct blazer and/or tie.

 Memory Verse-Due

19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Matthew 28:19-20

After School Programs:

If your child is participating in any after school programs, please make a note in the communication log each week.  This includes cheernastics, soccer, karate, and after school care.  If he/she will be attending something on a regular basis, you may let us know, and we will make note of it.  It is important for the safety of the children that we have accurate information.

Ways to help RSCAWe collect and recycle ink cartridges to earn money for our school.  You may send in your used cartridges to RSCA.  More information will be coming home soon.
