Student Support Services — R.I.S.E. Program
Responding to Interventions, Supporting Excellence
At Rock Springs Christian Academy, we are committed to helping every student thrive academically, emotionally, and spiritually. R.I.S.E. is RSCA's Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and Student Support Team (SST) program, designed to help every student reach their full God-given potential. Rooted in our mission to glorify God through exceptional education, R.I.S.E. provides a framework for identifying student needs, delivering targeted support, and monitoring progress so all students have the opportunity to succeed.
How R.I.S.E. Works
Through a collaborative partnership between teachers, parents, administrators, and support staff, R.I.S.E. uses data, classroom performance, assessments, and teacher observations to identify students who may benefit from additional support. Our Student Support Team works together to develop intervention plans, monitor growth, and adjust strategies to meet each student's unique needs.
Using a tiered approach, students receive varying levels of support:
Tier 1: High-quality instruction and support provided within the classroom for all students.
Tier 2: Targeted small-group interventions for students needing additional academic support.
Tier 3: Intensive, individualized interventions and problem-solving for students requiring more focused assistance.
Please note: R.I.S.E. is not a tutoring or specialized instruction program. It offers targeted support for students who may benefit from additional guidance as they engage with RSCA's grade-level curriculum. Depending on their needs, some students may still require outside tutoring or supplemental services.

Enrollment
To enroll in the Student Support Program, a current educational evaluation must be on file. If one is not already included in your child’s records, we kindly ask that you provide this documentation.
